About the Job
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
- Experience in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) accounting principles with experience in revenue accounting (ASC 606) in a public accounting or multinational company setting.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience performing technical accounting assessments and operational execution in relation to complex revenue contracts including multiple performance obligations, multi-year contracts and relative selling price allocation.
- Experience with financial processes such as Order-to-Cash cycle and related risks and controls
- Experience in SQL, combined with business judgment.
- Ability to lead and drive complex initiatives cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment across a large, complex, global organization.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$180,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Drive business growth through proactive risk management and innovative accounting solutions and scalable process.
- Ensure accurate and timely business reports, including the external disclosures of remaining performance obligations under ASC 606 as well as proper business recognition in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) (e.g., ASC 606, SSP analysis, balance sheet reconciliation).
- Develop knowledge over Google products and order-to-cash to create solutions to enable streamlined business, accounting operations and report processes.
- Identify and mitigate risks through your knowledge of Google Cloud products and Order-to-Cash systems and stakeholder engagement.
- Document the business and accounting operations, and reporting processes to design, implement, and monitor controls over financial reporting including those in Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) scope and actively participate in completion of statutory audits of Google Cloud.
