Bringing Home the Dough
This position will be Hybrid. There are both remote and office days.
The Accounting Generalist will work within the Record to Report Shared Services Team to achieve the end-to-end service delivery of the General Ledger activities and accounting functions including general accounting, intercompany, general ledger preparation, weekly & periodic close and reporting. This role also works closely with Plant Controllers to determine improvement opportunities while ensuring process compliance. Position is entry level with training provided.
Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities
• Communicate with others in the Record to Report Department and key stakeholders regard-ing accounting and analytical opportunities.
• Support financial reporting and transactional accounting activities for the plants and related sales activities.
• Serve as a Business Support Partner for Plant Finance Controllers.
• Support ad hoc requests/projects, continuous improvement activities, team member training, work scheduling, performance review, employee grievances resolutions, etc.
• Develop, build and maintain relationships with key Shared Services customers to ensure that expectation for service levels and targets are met.
• Ensures the preparation and distribution of timely and accurate financial activities including journal entry postings, balance sheet accounts reconciliation, bank accounts reconciliation, and the preparation of key financial reports/schedules.
• Provide account reconciliations to support the weekly, periodic, and yearend close activities.
• Review established accounting practices and procedures to ensure Compliance with SEC, US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley accounting and reporting regulations.
• Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance poli-cies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
• Perform other assignments from the R2R Director, R2R Manager, and R2R Lead.
• Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications
• 2+ years of related experience, including internships, preferred
• SAP and BlackLine experience a plus.
• Knowledge and understanding of the business processes within a bakery manufacturing and sales environment a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
