At COUNTRY Financial, the Financial Systems Analyst builds experience with accounting and corporate software. General Ledger Operations provides a variety of opportunities in problem solving, account reconciliations, interface balancing, and system growth. The project work builds accounting knowledge related to systems across the organization. Partnerships are built with multiple departments across the organization. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.
How does a Financial Systems Analyst make an impact?
- Represents the department in providing recommendations related to projects that impact the ledger which includes requirements, report building, assisting in testing and implementation. Provides expertise and input into the configuration on all internally stored accounting files or reports and completes any associated maintenance.
- Reviews or completes account reconciliations, interface balancing, and the processing of journal entries in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains, coordinates or reviews the general ledger accounting structure and the closing of the general ledger for all companies. Updates or reviews the changes for the internal database files and tables for the automated accounting systems.
- Completes basic or complex analysis regarding processes, systems, or other inquiries from internal/external departments. Provide feedback or recommendations comprised from the analysis completed.
- Evaluates the operating efficiencies of systems, procedures, and work flow related to accounting operations for the department. Makes recommendations and implements any improvements identified. Coordinates accounting matters with other departments and divisions as required.
