Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager at KBW Financial

A fast-growing retail company, in the Boston area, is currently seeking a detail orientated, deadline driven Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager to focus on the monthly close, technical accounting and complex business issues (acquisitions, stock compensations, leases and revenue recognition). This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure in many areas of technical accounting and work closely with a strong manager/mentor.  The Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager will manage the accounting team and be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities include:

• Lead all general accounting, monthly close
• Technical accounting research, implementation and guidance
• Revenue Recognition (ASC606)
• Equity accounting, Lease Accounting (ASC842)
• Ad hoc analysis, research, and projects
• Audit preparation
• Review financial accounting reporting
• Manage small team (1-2)

Qualifications:

• 5+ years relevant working experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Public accounting / CPA desired
• Excellent communications skills
  
  

Compensation:  $115,000 - $135,000 plus bonus +

Hybrid Schedule:  2 days in office / week
