We’re seeking a hands-on Accounting & Financial Analyst who can manage the details of our financial operations while contributing to strategic growth. This role offers a hybrid work opportunity, averaging 1-2 days per week in the office and the remainder remote.

With a solid foundation in accrual accounting and financial modeling, you take pride in learning the ins-and-outs of every software tool to extract maximum value.
What You’ll Do:
• Own the Bookkeeping & Financial Records
You’ll manage the day-to-day bookkeeping tasks with precision—handling accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and reconciling accounts. You’ll ensure that every entry is accurate and timely, producing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with accrual accounting standards.
•Drive Month-End and Year-End Processes
You’ll lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring everything is in order. You’ll keep a close eye on cash flow, perform reconciliations, and support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing critical financial insights.
•Leverage Technology to Enhance Accounting Operations
You have proven experience’with QuickBooks Online and how it integrates with other tools (e.g. CRM, HRIS, etc.)to provide real-time insights. Microsoft Excel functions and pivot tables do not intimidate you, but instead used consistently and with expertise to accomplish accounting goals.
•Develop policy and track ROI
You will design and oversee policies that all ROAR stakeholders will be required to follow. You will also manage expenditures in key areas to track ROI. For example, you will set a budget before each marketing conference, and afterwards, you will report how many leads the conference generated to assess ROI.
•Be a Strategic Partner in Financial Analysis
You will dig into the numbers to find and report on trends, variances, and key performance indicators that inform business decisions. In collaboration with senior management, you will contribute to budgeting discussions, strategic planning, and special projects that drive growth.
What You Bring to the Table:
•Accounting Experience & Expertise
You have at least 3 years of accounting experience and a solid understanding of accrual accounting principles. You’re a power user of accounting software like QuickBooks Online and Zoho, and you know how to get the most out of the tools at your disposal. An existing CPA designation is a plus, or you have a strong desire to pursue the certification in the future.
•Tech-Savvy Mindset
You are comfortable with technology and understand how different software tools integrate to support business processes. Whether it issynchronizing the CRM with the accounting system, automating a reporting process in Excel, or additional technology resources introduced, you know, or taking charge in learninghow to make the systems work to achieve results.

You produce accurate, organized, and thorough work. You have a talent for catching errors that others might miss and addressing issues before they become larger problems.
