Accounting and Finance Associate (ESG)
We are currently seeking candidates for an Accounting and Finance Associate (ESG) opportunity with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Accounting and Finance Associate (ESG) will prepare financial statements, maintain general ledger, perform reporting, and support AP, AR, and payroll responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of experience in accounting and finance ideally within investment management industry.

Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 base (depending on experience) + bonus

Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger and oversee intercompany transactions for multiple entities
- Prepare financial statements and perform analysis
- Develop budgets and forecasts, review variances, and deliver insight into financial trends
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements for management companies
- Produce necessary materials for regulatory filings and audits
- Monitor investment performance and provide analysis
- Perform payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable responsibilities
- Update and maintain financial databases and additional documentation
- Support special projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-2+ years of experience in finance and accounting ideally in investment management or financial services industry
- Strong experience with accounting and financial reporting functions
- Great communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized
- Intellectually curious and self-motivated
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience utilizing QuickBooks, Bill.com, or similar
- Ability to thrive in team and independent work environments
