Position Summary:This role is responsible for managing the daily operations and strategic objectives of the accounting cycle for the Company's manufacturing company/companies.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Advise key members of executive management on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, and policy matters.
- Participate in and promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
- Manage on-going and ad hoc reporting of historical performance, including financial results, productivity metrics, industry trends, and key performance indicators.
- Provide analysis, reporting, and modeling to executive management to support target achievement, cost saving initiatives, and funding optimization.
- Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping appropriate person(s) informed of all critical issues.
- Full Cycle Accounting.
- Manufacturing Accounting, preferably in a Cost Accounting role.
- Financial analysis and reporting of accounts.
- Full P&L reporting on all accounts.
- General Ledger management.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Sales tax processing.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable.
- Treasury Management.
- Revenue recognition and cost accounting.
- Audit methods and procedures to improve efficiency.
Prerequisites:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required (or, related work experience)
- 3+ years' experience with manufacturing accounting required
- Experience with Net Suite desired but not required
- Experience with Account Mates software a plus
- No relocation funds are being offered
