About the Job
We are immediately hiring an Accounting Coordinator.
As an Accounting Coordinator, you will have variety in your position. You will be able to perform general ledger account reconciliations, month-end book close, customer invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable. You will be the primary liaison between internal and external customers, providing the best possible customer service with regards to timely and accurate resolution.
Your responsibilities:

- Reconcile AR accounts, make collections calls, help resolve outstanding credit balances on customer accounts.
- Transition customers to electronic invoicing, and remittance of payments to lockbox.

- Create invoices to customers. Detect and correct discrepancies from pricing/invoicing agreements.
- Ensure data integrity and process continuity by proactively monitoring, resolving, and communicating with other departments regarding business process/procedures

- Support special projects and new challenges and learning opportunities. .
Experience and Education
- High School/GED
- 1+- years accounting or collections experience.
Competencies & Other Skills
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly, especially computer software.
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook, and intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently to meet deadlines and multi- task
- Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting processes and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective troubleshooting, problem resolution skills, and the ability to drive process improvement.
- Capable of independently resolving issues for both internal and external customers.
- Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, maintain relationships with key business partners, and have strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- NetSuite ERP experience preferred
- Experience with financial accounting/reporting a plus
