Job Description:
PSPC:
- Reviewing Bank accounts daily for customer payments
- Updating daily cash files with payment information received from banking details, emails, meetings, etc.
- Providing payment details to the cash application team for accurate cash applications
- Following up with customers and PMs on outstanding past due items
- Confirming payment dates of upcoming invoices due
- Completing credit verification request
- Releasing sale orders
- Depositing checks that are sent to JRP via check scanner located in office
- Administering cash receipts weekly meeting on her assign month
- Bi-weekly meetings with Canadian Team on all aging items
- Providing certificate of insurance documentation upon request
- Processing journal entries for refunds and freight
- Meeting with the West region RPM on outstanding AR items
TCOM:
- Responsible for performing product and service billings for the Tactical Communications (TCOM) Sector with speed and accuracy.
- This critical role has a key impact on revenue and cash flow for the TCOM sector.
- The role also requires the individual to process credit card transactions, process simple and complex sales orders in PeopleSoft, Intercompany Billings, and submit invoicing into numerous customer payable websites.
- Additionally, will work with the Accounts Receivable Manager on collections and resolving rejected and overdue invoices.
- Essential Functions:
- Perform day to day invoicing and billing responsibilities for the TCOM business sector. This includes reviewing sales orders in Oracle for accuracy, processing credit card payments, applying advanced payments, processing invoices in PeopleSoft, distributing invoices as instructed, and entering them into the appropriate EDI system, if required.
- Process intercompany, product service, firm fixed price, and milestone billings through the PeopleSoft contracts module.
- Enter credit memos and tax adjustments when required.
- Work with order administration, business planning and shipping on any discrepancies that arise between shipping transactions and billing instructions, to ensure invoices are accurate.
- Research Government contract discrepancies for invoice resolution.
- Work with program managers to assist with invoice collections. To include contacting customers to inquire about payment on aging invoices, providing invoice copies etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle/Peoplesoft ERPs
- Experience with WAWF
