Position: Accounting Clerk

Duration: Contrac to hire
Pay Range: $30-$34/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payments while maintaining proper documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies by communicating with vendors and team members.
- Perform data entry and maintain financial databases in Yardi software.
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits and tax filings.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting procedures.
- Other general accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in Yardi software is required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
