Salary: $40,000-$50,000

Are you detail-oriented, resourceful, and ready to support a dynamic accounting team? Our client is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their small, close-knit team of 20 employees. This is a newly created position where you will work closely with their Senior Accountant, making a real impact on their operations while enjoying a laid-back and supportive workplace.

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Clerk:

• Collaborate with the Senior Accountant and Financial Managers on various accounting tasks.
• The Accounting Clerk will maintain company ledgers and record daily financial transactions.
• Prepare financial documents such as bills, invoices, pay orders, payables, receivables, and purchase orders.
• The Accounting Clerk will enter and process AP invoices, including mailing and filing documents.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, ensuring accuracy.

What We’re Looking For in an Accounting Clerk:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is a plus but not required—experience counts!
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and QuickBooks or similar systems.
• A highly resourceful team player who can also work independently.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and provide excellent client service.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a vehicle.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to pass applicable clearances upon hire.
• Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
