Ledgent Finance & Accounting has partnered with an established investment management firm located in Pasadena, CA and is actively seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team! This is an indefinite long contract and is on-site, M-F.
We're seeking a highly motivated Accounting Clerk to provide support to the Accounting department. Some of the main responsibilities include; processing transactions, issuing checks, updating ledgers, assisting with financial reports, and creating and updating expense reports. They will also be responsible for handling communications with clients.
This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computers, especially advanced Excel, is a crucial requirement for this role.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a clerk role handling Accounts Receivable/Payable tasks.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including vLookups, Pivot Tables, and spreadsheet management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update databases as needed.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze financial data and generate reports.
- Assist with general clerical duties to support the finance team as required.
