About the Job
Alexandria Moulding, an SBP Brand is currently looking for a Part-Time Accounting Clerk to join our VALUES based organization to support the accounting department and ensuring accurate and efficient financial record-keeping.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
- Bookkeeping: Record and maintain financial transactions in journals, ledgers, and other accounting records. Update and reconcile sub-ledger to the general ledger. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software or databases. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Organize and maintain financial documents and records.
- Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports. Verify the accuracy of expense claims.
- Communication: Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial transactions. Respond to inquiries and provide information as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and procedures.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties to support the accounting department. Assist in special projects as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma: additional education in accounting or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an accounting clerk or related role.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
$21.00/hr
