Are you an accounting whiz with a passion for numbers and a knack for Excel magic? We’re on the lookout for a detail-oriented, proactive Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team in sunny Los Angeles! This is an exciting direct-hire, full-time role that offers the best of both worlds: a flexible remote work schedule Monday through Friday (7 AM to 4 PM), plus occasional in-office visits to keep things fresh and collaborative.
If you’ve got a BA in Accounting, 2-4 years of hands-on accounting experience, and love diving deep into Excel to solve problems, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Accounts Payable (50%) – Own the full-cycle AP process, from processing invoices to making payments. You’ll handle around 300-500 invoices a month—no heavy volume here, just a need for accuracy and a sharp eye for detail!
Software License Management (20%) – Keep track of software licenses like a pro! When customers need more access, you’ll handle the documentation to ensure smooth fulfillment and accurate tracking. Accounts Receivable (20%) – Help with billing and turn actual usage into accurate invoices. You’ll be the unsung hero who ensures everything adds up correctly!
Vendor Relations (10%) – Manage vendor needs like bottled water, shredding services, and anything else that keeps the company running smoothly. You’ll be the go-to point person for these essential services.
What We Need From You:
Experience – 2 to 4 years in accounting, with a solid background in AP and AR.
Education – A BA in Accounting or a related field (we’re serious about the details).
Skills – You’re a master of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) and have experience with Peachtree. Familiarity with standard office software like Word, Outlook, and OneDrive is also important.
Personal Traits – You’re a self-starter, extremely organized, and have a sharp attention to detail. You thrive in a role where you keep everything in order, and you love making sure things run like a well-oiled machine!
