Hours: 40 hours per week, until job is complete, up to 400 hours
Location: on site Lakewood office, B7201. If job is not completed prior to Lakewood move, then they may need to complete at Denver Federal Center, B48.
Responsibilities/job description:
- Pull batch(es) of microfiche sheets, flip through sheets to review count.
- Ensure sheets are in order and none are missing. Notate any that are missing. (Each sheet has a header with title and number - the sheets should be in order and so the numbers can be reviewed accordingly). If any missing sheet is not found in a different batch of microfiche, then identify record (microfiche sheet) as missing and have supervisor or records officer sign acknowledgement at end of project.
- Enter data into spreadsheet from header title and identify number of sheets.
- Place batch into provided envelope or other identified container.
- Maintain organization of microfiche as they are reviewed.
- Work with employees to "check-out" any microfiche and maintain log.
- Ready reviewed and logged microfiche for shipping per instructions provided.
- Provide weekly updates to include count completed, and any issues or concerns encountered, individual will work with on-site records custodian or IBC Records Officer to complete.
- Ideally, the individual would have some independence to resolve minor problems within the initial guidance provided, but also be able to evaluate when they need additional guidance.
