Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Accounting Clerk I:
– Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records
– Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements
– Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software
– Work with both internal and external customers to ensure timely collection of payments
Required Skills for Accounting Clerk I:
– Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheet/Excel)
– Experience with high volume work and effective time management
– Strong reconciliation skills
– Proficiency in Excel
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Familiarity with remote work
– AS400 experience
