Scope of Responsibilities: Works under the supervision of the Accounting Manager. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
Job Summary: Responsible for the creating and distributing bi-monthly invoices, accurate posting of daily lockbox deposits with the ability to identify, research, and correct any errors. Provide exceptional customer service while working with clients to resolve delinquent accounts. Assist with various reporting and general accounting functions.
Responsibilities:- Perform bi-monthly/monthly invoicing process, including data analysis and manipulation, generating invoices, and email delivery.
- Maintain good relationships with client contacts while working together to resolve delinquent accounts.
- Generate detailed documentation to accompany rebate and commission payments.
- Setup and maintain financial information in CRM.
- Accurately post daily lockbox deposits
- Identify, research and correct posting errors
- Provide exceptional customer service for all internal and external customers.
- Assist in daily routines as needed during staffing shortages or peak workloads.
- Reconcile and answer questions regarding customers’ accounts as requested using Lawson, Cloudsuite, Microstrategy, and CRM.
- Assist with month-end close procedures.
- Complete additional assigned tasks in the absence of the Accounting Manager.
- Complete all mandatory training programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements:
- Required: High School Diploma
- Preferred: AS Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Experience:
- Required: Proficent knowledge and use of Excel functions and formulas.
- Preferred: 1 year of previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Preferred: Previous experience with Lawson.
Compensation
$17.84-18.19 per hour.
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
