We're seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Consulting Accounting Clerk to join our team. This role is integral to our financial operations, playing a crucial part in ensuring our financial transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant. Responsibilities:
The Consulting Accounting Clerk will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
1. Managing accounts payable and ensuring all payments are made in a timely manner.
2. Processing payroll accurately and on schedule, while adhering to company and legal standards.
3. Performing accurate and efficient data entry tasks, maintaining the integrity of our financial records.
4. Providing exceptional customer support, addressing queries and concerns related to financial matters with professionalism and courtesy.
5. Organizing and maintaining an effective filing system for financial documents, ensuring ease of access and compliance with regulations.
6. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
7. Collaborating with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Accounting Clerk position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing, Service, Construction, or Distrbution industry.
2. Proficiency in accounts payable, payroll, data entry, customer support, and filing.
3. An associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A bachelor's degree will be considered an advantage.
4. Exceptional numerical skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
8. Knowledge of standard accounting principles and regulatory standards.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
10. A proactive attitude towards identifying and implementing improvements to processes and systems.
