Responsabilidades:Job Purpose
The Accounting Clerk Bookkeeper is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions within the course. Accounting Clerk Bookkeepers have a deep understanding of operational concepts and possess a strong attention to detail to deliver results. Under the direction of the General Manager, the Accounting Clerk Bookkeeper serves as an adviser and thought leader on the financial and operational objectives of the course.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all accounting and reception staff regarding accounting and financial procedural requirements to ensure accuracy and timeliness of location’s financial reporting
- Maintain the membership database for member billing
- Assist General Manager in ordering office supplies, completing all month end financial entries including reporting and schedules on time
- Review billing items related to traditional membership, players club, AP, and AR
- Facilitate accounts receivable collections through phone calls and letters
- Maintain location information systems and resolves hardware/software issues with assistance from corporate Information Technology function
- Help General Manger prepare annual budgets
- Interview, hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and discipline staff hired to perform accounting functions
- Ensure adherence and accountability of all internal controls and company accounting policies and procedures
- Implement and support all American Golf initiatives and programs as requested by management
- Other duties may be assigned by management
Qualifications
- 2 years accounting/finance experience, including monthly reporting and general ledger management
- Well versed in computer-based accounting systems, Internet applications and Windows operating environment with ability to operate computer, calculator, fax, copier, and telephone
- Familiar with management of a timekeeping system, preferably Kronos
- Ability to produce financial statements under tight month-end deadlines
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers and management
- Must be fluent in English
- A valid driver’s license is required
Education
- 4-year college degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, JD Edwards experience a plus

Working Conditions
- Days and hours of work vary by schedule and business needs.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday work will be required.
