Accounting Clerk - FULL TIME
Unit/Department: Finance/Accounting
Location: Hialeah Hospital & Palmetto General Hospital
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
The Accounting Clerk will oversee the organization's accounting systems, maintaining accurate records and financial documentation. Supervise financial and accounting processes and ensure adherence to company and/or federal laws. Work closely with the Account Manager to ensure Beacon Hill Policies.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains Cashier staff
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Analyzes financial daily reports in both Palmetto General & Hialeah Hospital
- Audits expenditures, ensuring compliance with the accounting procedures of the organization.
- Provides technical support to Account Manager & Cashier staff
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Fiduciary Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit required daily reports to Account Manager
- Perform required audits
- Perform daily cash reconciliation
- Process exception reports
- Replace bills of poor quality with "ATM Quality" bills
Required Skills/Abilities (including but not limited to):
- Must be proficient in English and Spanish
- Possesses exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude.

- Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively both verbally and on paper

Education and Experience
- High School degree or equivalent.
- 3 years or more of experience in business administration or finance
- Physical Demands and Working Environment (including, but not limited to):
- The Financial Supervisor will be required to stand for most of their shift, walk, sit, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear.
- The Financial Supervisor must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 20lbs. The Manager may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.
Job Summary
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for the financial documentation of the Palmetto general Hospital & Hialeah Hospital location in accordance with Beacon Hill Hospitality's policies and procedures. This fast-paced role requires the juggling of multiple duties including those related to parking equipment, reporting, revenue controls, Managing Cashiers, valet parking operations, and staffing. The Finance supervisor ensures that all account criteria and expectations are consistently met or exceeded. Cashier management and development are a crucial aspect to this position. With the support of the Director of Parking, the Financial Supervisor is responsible for maintaining accurate records, training, scheduling, motivating and evaluating their team members.
