These include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and financial statements during month-end close, and creating adjusting entries. Job Description:
Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Accounting Bookkeeper to perform a variety of financial tasks. These include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and financial statements during month-end close, and creating adjusting entries. Quickbooks Experience is a must 2-3 years experience. Looking for a candidate wanting to grow within their role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records, ensuring that financial transactions are properly and promptly recorded.
- Imput all records into Quickbooks
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flows, and other financial reports.
- Review general ledger accounts and prepare adjusting journal entries.
- Assist with the month-end closing process, conduct research and make correcting journal entries for account discrepancies, prepare closing journal entries, and post accrual entries.
- Support accounts receivable and invoice entries as provided.
- Assist with internal control evaluation.
Skillset / Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Experience in the Aviation & Aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with consignment management, engine and powerplant leasing, storage, and teardown processes.
- Experience with components for major commercial airplanes such as Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
