Accounting Billing Clerk at AccountStaff

AccountStaff is currently looking to fill an Accounting Specialist role for a client located in Downtown Pittsburgh. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for billing for invoiced orders, accounts payable, and reviewing account discrepancies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
• Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable statuses

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of experience Accounts Receivable Experience
• Experience with contemporary ERP software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Team player and strong independent work ethic
• Ability to multitask and balance multiple priorities

Education:

• An Associate’s Degree is preferred but not required
