Accounting Associate - Roessel Joy

• Provide support to the accounting team and serve as a backup for AR and AP.
  
• Use accounting software to process accounts payable.
  
• Compare purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices from vendors to generate a bill in Procurify.
  
• Reconcile credit card payments 
  
• Help with gathering and organizing documents for audits.
  
• Support monthly and year-end closings for any assigned accounting function.
  
• Assist with the maintenance of accounting records, ensuring they are up-to-date and organized.
  
• Support the process of invoice submission to the client and record cash receipts in MAS as required.
  
• Process transactions, make ACH and wire payments, and record wire transfers in MAS as required.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field;
  
• One to two years of experience in an accounting support position;
  
• Understanding of basic accounting principles;
  
• Thorough, accurate, and honest with good bookkeeping skills;
  
• Ability to handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality;
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple demands, prioritize and produce high-quality work under pressure;
  
• Ability to work independently and within teams in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness;
  
• Strong organizational and administrative capabilities;
  
• Attention to detail and follow-up are essential;
  
• Ability to take initiative and exercise good judgment;
  
• Ability to apply a strong customer-focus orientation to understand and resolve issues;
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications,
  
• Fluency in English and excellent writing and communications skills
