WHO are we looking for?
CAPTRUST is seeking an Accounting Associate who will be responsible for expense report processing, administering the company corporate card program, and assisting with cash postings. The Finance Associate should have good communication skills as they will work closely with employees across all departments. As part of the Finance Team, the Finance Associate will be able to impact efficiency and to provide ideas for process improvements. Our ideal candidate will have SAP Concur experience and will be comfortable working with others. He/She/They will maintain the highest professional and ethical standards, be well-organized, service-oriented, collaborative, and accountable while performing under tight deadlines. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:
Responsibilities:- Manage expense report process to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with budget and company policies
- Oversee expense-related questions in our ticketing system and expense email queue.
- Administer the company corporate card program (AMEX) including card issuance, cancellation, and reconciliation.
- Improve user experience for cardholders by streamlining processes
- Generate and maintain month-end reports for AMEX transactions and Out-of-Pocket expenses.
- Provide assistance with cash postings, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions
- Coordinate with various Finance teams to assist in the month-end reporting and financial close processes
- Assist with project work as needed
- Build efficiencies and process improvements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1 to 3 years of accounting experience required
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
- Intermediate level experience with Microsoft products, specifically Excel
- Experience with SAP Concur
- Experience with Accounts Receivable and General Ledger Systems
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-starter and can prioritize and re-prioritize with little supervision
- Detail-oriented and proactive
