Accounting Associate
RESPONSIBILITIES: This Financial Professional reports directly to Operations/Owner and is responsible for helping manage the operational accounting function, with a focus on ensuring accurate and timely job level financial data. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- · Enter and Pay Bills ensuring correct account, department and job level information is entered
- · Record check deposits ensuring correct account, department and job level information is entered
- · Assist with weekly payroll, with a focus on recording hourly labor to the correct job
- · Enter credit card transactions and ensure all receipts and documentation are obtained. Code all transactions to the correct account, department and job.
- · Create and maintain a system for weekly review of job level financial data to ensure completeness and accuracy
- · Help close out jobs in a timely manner. Work cross functionally to resolve financial issues, obtain sign off and close files
- · Review and enter job estimates into general ledger
- · Maintain various lists used by accounting to allocate expenses to the correct department
QUALIFICATIONS:
- · Experience as a bookkeeper or accounting associate preferred
- · Experience working in Construction or Restoration accounting preferred
- · Microsoft Excel experience required
- · QuickBooks experience required
- · Self-Motivated and able to work independently
- · Strong attention to detail

Salary: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
