Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Update monthly analysis and prepare budget trend reports for the portfolio of properties.
- Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations.
- Responsible for accurate and complete processing of commercial properties tenant transactions.
- Assisting with month-end and quarterly closing activities.
- Assisting with year-end closing activities and audit preparation.
- Assisting departments with annual budget preparation and reviews.
- Maintaining various accounting schedules as directed.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Education:
- Required: Associate's Degree (2 years) in Accounting or Business (minimum).
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree (4 years) in Accounting or Business
- Experience: 3 years of accounting experience. Experience in accounting for real property management company preferred.
- Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel application including proven experience in creating and using pivot tables.
- Microsoft Word.
- Experience with Yardi preferred.
- Requires high level of analytical skills: possesses account reconciliation capabilities; collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data.
- Requires excellent mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Requires ability to communicate both orally and in writing with a wide range of people.
- Must be reliable and detail-oriented.
- Must be self-motivated, energetic and a team player.
