As an Accounting Assistant, you will support their accounting department with various tasks to ensure the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions. They are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team.
Essential Functions for the Accounting Assistant:
- The Accounting Assistant will assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Match incoming invoices to receipts.
- Maintain and update financial records and databases.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports as needed.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Requirements for the Accounting Assistant:
- Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Experience using Accounting ERP software.
- Experience and proficiency in MS Office Applications Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Detail oriented.
