Accounting Assistant - AllStaff

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our finance team! The ideal candidate will support various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role is essential for maintaining financial records and assisting with the preparation of financial reports. The Accounting Assistant will work closely with other team members to streamline processes and enhance the overall efficiency of the accounting department.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Assist in accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
• Conduct account reconciliation tasks to verify the integrity of financial data.
• Utilize accounting software such as Workday, Sage, and ADP for various accounting functions.
• Support payroll processing using Kronos and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation for audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Hours and Pay:

• This position will operate Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Hourly Pay Rate: $20 hour

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role within an accounting department.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Workday, Sage, ADP, or similar platforms.
• Proficient in account reconciliation processes and general ledger reconciliation.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
