Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Property Management Financial Preparer to join our team at Cardinal Management Group / RealManage
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with financial recordkeeping and managing financial transactions for properties under our management.
The ideal candidate will have experience in property management accounting, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties.
- Ensure financial data is consistent and compliant with accounting principles.
- Generate financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and property accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist Auditing firms with year-end tax/ audit preparation
- Communicate with property managers, owners, and vendors to resolve financial issues.
- Support the property management team with financial forecasting and analysis.
- Plus other work related tasks as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in property management financial preparation or related accounting/finance experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of property management industry standards and financial reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
Pay and Benefits:
$22.00 to $25.00, depending on education and experience.
