About the Job
Our client, a community involved non-profit organization, has an immediate need for an accounting assistant. The accounting assistant will report directly to the director of finance and will be primarily responsible for general accounting and administrative tasks.

Duties include:
- Accounts receivable - billing.
- Processing accounts payable.
- Reconciling bank accounts.
- Preparing basic journal entries.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reviewing and maintain multiple financial reports.
- Some administrative duties, such as scanning, filing, and dictating.
- Other duties as assigned.
Candidates for the accounting assistant position should have 2+ years of general accounting experience and be willing to perform administrative tasks as well. A degree in accounting is preferred, but not required.
