Role and Responsibilities
- Assist with accounting administration functions such as managing the Finance mailbox, answering phone calls, distribute mail to appropriate persons.
- Assist in customer collections and other A/R tasks when needed.
- Address sales support questions and conduct research in SAP.
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks as they arise.
- Attend Finance Meetings.
- Month-end close tasks.
- Book intercompany incoming invoices.
Candidate Requirements
- College degree or working towards certification, AS or BS in Accounting or Business Management preferred
- Previous experience of working in an accounting department as a Finance Assistant, or similar role
- Solid knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and SAP would be advantageous
- Time-management and organisation skills
- High standard of communication skills both written and orally,
- A strong team player but also able to work well on own initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
