Oxford Solutions is partnering with a client seeking an Accounting Administrator to handle a combination of accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll setup responsibilities. This role requires a candidate who is technically savvy, a quick learner, and capable of managing diverse accounting tasks with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform general accounting and bookkeeping duties, including maintaining accurate financial records and preparing reports.
- Set up and manage payroll information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Provide support for other accounting projects as needed.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new software and systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines
