Location: Orlando, FL (Fully In-Office)

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Compensation: $23- $25 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Job Description:

Our client, a small but busy law firm in downtown Orlando, is seeking an Administrative Accounting Assistant to join their team. This entry-level position is fully in-office and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and take messages
• Respond to emails
• Prepare complex correspondence, reports, charts, and forms
• Draft and file legal documents
• Interact with clients and homeowners
• Update client files
• Schedule hearings
• Handle payments and payment arrangements
• Prepare settlement agreements, payoffs, and disbursements
• Perform other clerical tasks as needed
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Client billing
• Bank reconciliations
• Payroll processing

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of accounting experience in a professional services atmosphere
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with QuickBooks 
• Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Experience with Clio or comparable time and billing software is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to excel in a multi-faceted, fast-paced role
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
