Position:Our Finance team is looking for an Accountant to join the firm. The individual will be responsible for performing all aspects of corporate accounting, including reconciliations, journal entries, reporting and process improvement. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team.
Responsibilities:- Participate in monthly close process by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and resolving reconciling items timely
- Preparation and analysis of financial statements and regulatory reporting
- Improve, formalize, and partner with Technology to improve/automate processes while maintaining a strong control environment.
- Ad hoc projects, as necessary
- 4-7 years accounting experience
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software required, Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines
- Detail-oriented and resourceful with excellent organizational and project-management skills.
- Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and accountable
- Must have desire to learn and grow
