About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled, and seasoned Accountant with a strong and professional work ethic to join our team. This position will have the responsibility of overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and analysis, will be reliable, trustworthy, and confidential as well as possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and inventory valuation
- Oversee and manage fixed assets, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information, reporting, product costing, and analysis to support sound business decision-making
- Develop or improve and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting within the department
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Provide strategic guidance to senior management on financial matters
- Collaborate with external accounting firms throughout the year in the preparation of tax returns
- Manage staff involved in the accounting process and provide guidance and support as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA certification is preferred but not required
- Experience in the Manufacturing and/or Construction Industries is preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks financial software, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet necessary deadlines

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,500.00 - $80,000.00 per year
