About the Job
Job Responsibilities:
· Processes and posts sales invoices and payments on weekdays
· Tracks company assets by maintaining and updating an asset book
· Prepares sales and use tax every quarter
· Prepares monthly sales and commission reports
· Prepares monthly depreciation schedule
· Calls and collects on past-due accounts
· Resolves disputes with customers
· Assists with preparing information for audits conducted by external auditors
· Files accounting-related documents and ensures all information is safely stored and available on short notice
Additional Responsibilities:
· Assists with accounts payable and general ledgers
· Performs other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Concentration in Accounting
· 2+ years of experience
· General knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
· Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
· Good computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. NAV preferre
