Job Summary - Vaco has partnered with a Non Profit Company and they have an opening for an Accountant. This position is contract to hire with the first couple of weeks being on a part time basis and will become full time after training. Client is offering hybrid work model and healthy benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bank Reconciliation
- Accounts Payable and fixed assets
- General ledger processes
- Work independently to identify, gather, and use necessary resources and information to execute assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational procedures.
- Ensure proper accounting of transactions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently to solve problems and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Sage Intaact is a huge plus.
Schedule - First 2 weeks will be 20 hours/weekly, following 4 weeks - 40 hours per week

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
