As a Permanent Accountant, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
2. Managing Accounts Receivable (A/R) and General Ledger (GL) entries.
3. Conducting monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
4. Analyzing financial reports and providing insights to the management team.
5. Assisting in budget preparation and expense management activities for future needs and projects.
6. Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.
7. Using QuickBooks to track and manage financial data, including sales receipts, invoices, and payments.
8. Collaborating with the financial team and other departments to optimize financial operations and strategic projects.
Job Details
To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
3. Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial management software.
4. Solid understanding of financial processes, including A/R, GL, and monthly reporting.
5. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
8. Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
9. A proactive problem-solver who can work independently and as part of a team.
