Title: Accountant
Location: Miami, FL (Blue Lagoon area)
Reports To: Finance Manager, Revenue and Purchasing Support
Status: Exempt

As an Accountant, you’ll manage financial processes, analysis, and reporting for multiple subsidiaries, working closely with purchasing and supply chain teams to ensure accuracy and financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Accrual & Pricing Management
- Oversee the pricing process for international markets, ensuring timely reconciliation and resolving issues swiftly.
- Manage accrual processes for key products, ensuring accurate savings for stores and maintaining supplier and distributor relationships.
Distribution Reconciliation Management
- Lead the distributor reconciliation processes to manage inventory revaluation and exchange rate fluctuations.
- Provide ongoing analysis and recommendations to keep financial balances within defined thresholds.
Revenue Plan Management
- Manage and forecast revenue plans, ensuring timely payments and minimizing tax liabilities.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and distributors to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and receivables management.
Accounts Payable & Financial Reporting
- Supervise and support the Accounts Payable specialist, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
- Lead the month-end and annual closing processes, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit preparations.
Financial Stewardship & Compliance
- Manage stewardship revenue plans, ensuring compliance with brand and provincial obligations.
- Support tax compliance matters and international remittances, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Additional Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various teams and external partners to support special projects and organizational priorities.
- Cross-train with other team members to provide coverage and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to public accounting or private industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP’s), Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL and BI360 software is a plus.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
