Job Details
We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with expertise in financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform payroll processing and reconciliation
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist in the implementation of accounting software systems
- Provide guidance on financial concepts to non-finance team members
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Proficiency in Sage or similar accounting software
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial analysis
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with IFRS reporting standards
- Familiarity with GAAP guidelines
