LOCATION/DIVISION SPECIFIC INFORMATION:
This position will serve with the Single Use Division within the Bioproduction Group. This is an on-site position seated in the Miami, OK facility.

We have a temporary opportunity for someone with accounting experience to assist with EOM book closing, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and other projects. The Accountant III will support the Finance Manager with transactional analysis and other ad-hoc assignments.

We have a temporary opportunity for someone with accounting experience to assist with EOM book closing, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and other projects. The Accountant III will support the Finance Manager with transactional analysis and other ad-hoc assignments.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Perform monthly closing activities including journal entries, accruals, reporting and analysis.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and recommend necessary adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, company policy, approval authority matrix and standard operating procedure.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Exercise sound data stewardship - following data policies (retention, privacy, security) and detailing procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement and use systems to increase controls and efficiencies.
- Ensure effective data security and controls within ERP, financial systems, and data flows.
- Other ad hoc requests as necessary
EDUCATION
- An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Accounting (required)
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience in a high-volume accounting environment (AR & AP emphasis a plus) within a matrixed organization.
- Working knowledge of ERPs required, specific experience with Oracle R12 preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (required)
- Excellent understanding of financial accounting standards and internal controls
- Excellent attention to detail, as accuracy is required in performing all aspects of the role
- Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, computer, and organization skills
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
