Job Details
Qualifications
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the finance industry.
3. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Jonas Club Software or similar ERP systems.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable, and management accounting.
5. Exceptional numerical proficiency and attention to detail.
6. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide accurate financial reports.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. A professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
Duties
1. Manage and oversee various aspects of our financial operations, including accounts payable, general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
2. Ensure accurate and timely production of all financial information, including financial statements and management reports.
3. Use Jonas Club Software and ERP systems to streamline accounting processes and enhance financial controls.
4. Conduct regular bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, managing invoices, and reconciling accounts.
5. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing trends and variances.
6. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
7. Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
8. Contribute to financial decision-making processes by providing accurate and timely financial data and analysis.
