We are seeking a seasoned Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker, detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of the fundamental principles of accounting and finance. Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
2. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and reconciliations.
3. Develop and maintain internal control procedures to ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and timely.
4. Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
5. Conduct financial audits, prepare audit schedules, and liaise with external auditors.
6. Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
7. Prepare and submit tax documents and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
8. Collaborate with other finance team members to support overall department goals and objectives.
9. Provide support in financial decision-making through financial analysis, forecasting, and report interpretation.
10. Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
4. Proficient in GAAP and financial reporting.
5. Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
6. Experience with financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
8. Sharp attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
