About the Job
As an Accountant at XVIVO, you will play a crucial role in managing the accounting operations and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. You will collaborate closely with the Accounting Managers to support month-end close processes, coordinate audits, and drive accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate ownership of their responsibilities, exhibit strong analytical skills, and maintain a commitment to high standards of integrity and reliability. This is role is 100% on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control and manage Concur, AP, AR, bank payments and processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Assist in managing month-end processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Support analysis for month-end close, quarterly results, year-end, and rolling forecasts to provide insights for decision-making.
- Conduct month-end close activities, including recording transactions, reconciling balance sheet accounts, performing complex financial analysis and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the Concur platform and be responsible for training and re-training employees as needed.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Assist the Accounting Managers in tax compliance and reporting.
- Lead the Sunshine Act project, ensuring compliance requirements are met and maintained.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and deliverables, demonstrating accountability and attention to detail.
- Conduct thorough research on accounting and tax matters, staying updated on relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Foster a collaborative environment by engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Support the Accounting Managers in identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $70,000 - $100,000

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a medical device or healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles.
- Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to travel domestic/overseas 2-3 times a year.
- Fast learner with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
