Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Bookkeeping: Handle day-to-day financial tasks, including accounts payable and reconciliations
- QuickBooks Expertise: Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop. Experience using Quickbooks "Classes".
- Payroll & Tax Compliance: Manage small payroll, 1099 filings (online vis IRIS), sales tax, and excise tax reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and reconcile balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and bank statements.
- Inventory: Oversee inventory reconciliation.
- Deposits: Prepare daily deposits and reconciliation.
- Microsoft Excel: Advanced skills for data analysis and reporting.
- LLC Renewals: Track and renew multiple LLC's.
- Licensing: Submit business license renewals to various entities.
- Legal Experience is a Plus: Prepare legal contracts, leases and documents.
- Real Estate Experience is a Plus: Track occasional real estate transactions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance processes. Familiarity with legal, insurance, and real estate terminology and processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
