Accountant – Bookkeeper
Parttime – 20 hour per week
Onsite in Doral Florida
Salary - $30- $40 per hour
Job Description
Seeking a highly motivated Accountant/Bookkeeper to join client’s team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting activities, including preparing and maintaining financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and supporting year-end audits.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare estimates and deposit invoices.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing.
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial reporting, data entry, and account reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
- Support year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and systems within the accounting department.
- Prepare financial reports
- Organize and maintain financial records and documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements for bookkeeping systems and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
