Job Details

Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and principles.
Prepare budget forecasts and monitor them regularly, alerting management to any discrepancies or areas of concern.
Create and present detailed financial statements that provide a clear understanding of the company's financial position.
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes diligently and accurately.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all payments are accurate and timely.
Process bank payments, maintaining a consistent record of all transactions.
Maintain and update balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
Audit financial transactions and documents, identifying and addressing any irregularities.
Enhance the company's financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the engineering industry.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with relevant accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
Excellent numerical skills with an attention to detail.
Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Strong analytical skills and experience creating reports and presentations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service orientation.
High level of integrity and trustworthiness, with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism.
Ability to work independently but also collaboratively within a team.
CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
