Fast growing Manufacturer is expanding their team and looking for an Accountant with a focus on full cycle billing, cash application, Discrepancies, understanding of Debits/Credits and the G/L. This role will cross train to learn payroll, no experience in payroll required.

1. Managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including billing, invoicing, and cash applications.
2. Reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures.
3. Ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounting data.
4. Preparing and presenting financial reports for management.
5. Collaborating with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
6. Posting to the general ledger, understanding of debits/credits needed.
7. Researching account discrepancies and following up for resolution.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned accounting professional with a strong background in accounts receivable. The following qualifications are required:
1. Associate's degree in Accounting or related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
3. Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel including vlookups and pivot tables.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Knowledge of Debits/Credits and G/L accounting.
