- Analyze accounting transactions and information to summarize current financial position for each faculty.
- Prepare and present financial reports to assist PIs with funding burn rates, budget allocations, and ongoing monitoring of expenditures, effort, and budget variance.
- Oversee, reconcile, and resolve problems relative to complicated accounts
- Serve as liaison with PIs, lab staff, and central offices on reporting requirements, sponsored project cost principles, and financial compliance inquiries.
- Independently set up new accounts for newly funded sponsored projects and initiate subtasks for internal collaborators when needed.
- Review transactions on active awards for allowability and timeliness, confirm accurate sponsor salary cap, set up subawards and identify any compliance issues.
- Review all notices of award and fund authorization s to ensure that expenditures are charged appropriately and within sponsors, donors, and Stanford policies and guidelines.
- Requirements:Hybrid schedule - onsite at least 3-4 days per week during the first 2 weeks. After he/she completes the training, it will be 2 days per week.
The hours will be 8:30 to 5:30 (with one-hour lunch break).
If possible, someone with Stanford experience.
