Who We Are ...
SourceAmerica is searching for an Account Representative, Federal Product Solutions to join its team, focused on providing products contracting and account management support of AbilityOne assigned NPAs and associated projects, or assigned Lines of Business, or Federal or Other Customers. Increase employment opportunities by ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Develop and expand existing opportunities. Promote the AbilityOne Program and assist NPAs/ Federal Contracting Activities/ Other Customers in maintaining program and statutory compliance. Maintain knowledge of the AbilityOne Program. May include assistance in federal contracting, price development, and coordination of business operations and processes to ensure timely delivery of quality products/services .
This position helps connect our network of over 575 Non-Profit agencies with federal procurement opportunities across the United States! Our network of Non-Profit Agencies (NPAs) perform service and product contracts mainly for Federal agencies and help employ over 33,000+ people with disabilities nationally .
*Due to the requirements of this position, the ideal candidate must be in proximity to one of our offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, or the Washington, DC-area.
What You Will Do ...
As an Account Representative, Federal Product Solutions, your work functions will include but are not limited to the following. A full position description will be given to candidates at the time of the interview.
Customer Relationships and Account Growth
- Provide both pre-award and post-award contracting support to Nonprofit Agencies and the Federal customer. This includes facilitating changes, modifications, etc.
- Strengthen the AbilityOne program, either through preservation of existing contracts or developing product/service expansions resulting in sustained increases in jobs and sales.
- Market the AbilityOne Program by supporting/conducting presentations/briefings to Procuring or Service Provider Activities and coordinate/participate in marketing events.
Budget Oversight
- Exercise financial stewardship with company resources.
AbilityOne Program Support
- Account management of assigned AbilityOne NPAs, Lines of Business, Customers, Federal or Other Customers, and/or associated projects, . Examples include coordinating all activities with stakeholders, monitor the status of open actions and files.
- Act as primary POC for all assigned actions with NPA, Contracting Activity, Other Customers or Commission.
Project and Performance Management
- Provide products related contracting Subject Matter Expertise (SME).
- Monitor contract performance through frequent, meaningful engagement, including interactions, conducting site visits, attending performance meetings, quality assessment, and coordinating technical assistance, or provide support to the appropriate team as needed.
- Other responsibilities will be assigned as organizational needs arise.
Salary Range
The salary for this position falls in a range between $85,000 - $98,496 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution instead of applicable skills training. SourceAmerica recognizes 1.5 years of experience = 1 year of college, should the candidate not meet the educational requirement.
- 5+ years of must have demonstrated contract management related experience.
- Deep understanding of contracts, contracts governance, contractual language, and the contract lifecycle.
- Planning/project management skills to be able to prioritize work to meet our department goals.
- Effective communication with stakeholders.
- Team player.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- NCMA CFCM Certification strongly preferred*
- Knowledge of SourceAmerica and the AbilityOne Program.
- Able to work with minimal oversight and supervision while getting results and managing the book of business.
- Knowledge of the Federal acquisition process and procedures include the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Code of Federal Regulations (CFAR), JWOD Act, and AbilityOne policies and procedures.
- Ability to facilitate discussions with diverse points of view; and apply good judgment to situations without perfect information.
- We use Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) as our primary business application system for much of our office processes— experience with D365 or using similar methods is preferred.
Work Environment
Our organization offers both a hybrid work model—where employees work in our office two to three days per week and work from home the balance of the workweek—as well as a fully remote work model, depending on the job requirements and one’s proximity to one of our offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, or the Washington, DC-area.
